Overview
RadianceKit on macOS and RadianceCap on iPhone keep captures and 3D data on your devices by default. There is no RadianceKit account, advertising, or tracking. Data is transferred only when you choose a transfer destination or explicitly enable the optional iCloud sync.

RadianceKit for macOS
RadianceKit processes imported photos and videos, camera alignments, trained Gaussian Splatting models, and exports locally on your Mac. Training runs on the device. The app does not upload this content to the developer's servers.
When you select a scene synchronized by RadianceCap, RadianceKit downloads it from your private iCloud storage and imports it locally. A download starts only after your selection.
RadianceCap for iPhone
Capture data
RadianceCap stores scenes locally on your iPhone first. A scene may contain:
- Photos and preview images
- Camera poses and optical data
- LiDAR depth and confidence data, plus detected surfaces
- Quality measurements and capture settings
- Names, notes, and review decisions you enter
Camera and motion
RadianceCap requires camera access to capture photos and spatial information. During an exposure, the app uses motion data to warn about possible camera shake. iOS asks for your permission before the first access. You can change permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
Optional transfer
You can transfer a scene to a destination you choose through the iOS share sheet, AirDrop, or Files. The privacy terms of the selected service or recipient apply to that transfer.
iCloud sync is off by default. If you enable it, new completed scenes are transferred to the private iCloud storage of your Apple account. Existing scenes are synchronized only after another explicit confirmation. Apple processes the transfer and storage under its privacy policy. This does not give the developer access to your scene content.
Turning sync off stops new transfers. It does not automatically remove copies that have already been synchronized; you can manage occupied storage through Apple's iCloud storage management.
Purchases and trial
In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. RadianceKit does not collect or process payment information. The Mac app's free trial is tracked locally using the macOS Keychain. No account or registration is required.
